If you are having problems viewing the video, the first thing to try is waiting longer. This has resolved more than 90% of all people's problems.
The reason you need to wait is that a portion of the video must download to your computer before it can start playing. You can see how much of the video has downloaded by looking at the download progress (shown in the figure below). The grey bar will proceed to the right as more and more of the video becomes available for playing. The little video progress knob ( circular button) moves to the right as the video plays. You can click and drag it with your mouse to move to different parts of the video.
Sometimes, when the network is slow, either because you are on a slow connection (eg dialup over a modem), or because the internet is congested, or the university network is very busy, the video progress catches up to the download progress, and the video stops playing, sometimes after only a few frames. In this case, just be patient and let the download progress some more before trying to play.
If you see a broken video icon, or a plugin icon, instead of a video, then you need to install Quicktime, or possibly restart your web browser or your computer.
